Issued to coincide with the Taalfees at Paarl 10 October 1944. Very good indeed, uncut and unopened, paper evenly browned as usual for newsprint of this age. From the collection of NGK Church archivist H Chas. Hopkins, with his ownership signature and dated 10/10/44: it is possible that he was concerned with the production of this facsimile issue. With an autographed slip (by Hopkins) stating that this was printed during the Taalfees on the original machine used to print the first issue in 1876.
