Original billhead printed in black ink on light beige paper. Also includes handwriting in black ink. Datelined April 1893 in Sacramento, California. 8 1/2" x 4 1/2." Billhead is very clean and intact but has light age toning, a few vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and two small punctures in upper-left corner and center that slightly affecting text. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from A. Mendis of Sacramento, California to "Kent Bros." Kent Bros. bought six line items on three separate dates. Each of the dates has two line items, "Barley" and "Bran." The printed header reads, "Bought of A. Mendis, Wholesale and Retail Dealer in Wood, Coal, Hay and Grain. Barley and Oats Crushed to Order. 1513-15 Front Street, bet. O and P.". Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
