Beautiful, meticulously detailed illustrations by Edwin A. Abbey and Alfred Parsons accompany the songs. Edwin A. Abbey (1852-1911) was an American painter and illustrator. He is perhaps best-known for his illustrations of subjects pertaining to Shakespeare and the Victorian era. Alfred Parsons (1847-1920) was an English illustrator, painter, and garden designer. Parsons became well-known for his landscape paintings and botanical illustrations.
