Original publisher's light blue paper-covered boards backed with beige cloth. Former owner's black and gilt bookplate tipped in on front free endpaper: "Ex Libris, Estelle Doheny." Estelle Doheny (1875-1958) was a famous book collector and wife of the oil tycoon, Edward L. Doheny. 7 3/4" x 10." Eleven pages, complete. Five-page Biographical Note in front. Pages are and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. Slight browning to fore-edges of pages. Slight age toning to paper portions of the boards. Offsetting from Doheny's bookplate affects "Henry" of John Henry Nash's signature, but the signature is still very clear and readable. Slight offsetting from the frontispiece on title page. A Fine copy. An allegorical essay by the English writer and politician, Joseph Addison (1672-1719). The Vision of Mirzah (also, Mirza) is a piece of utopian literature that reflects upon human existence and the afterlife. This copy is signed by John Henry Nash (1871-1947), the famous Bay Area printer.
