Cloth is faded on spine and along perimeters of boards, which are mildly edgeworn, with shallow loss at heel and crown. Text leaves are clean but lightly and evenly toned, though still flexible. Bookplate of Samuel A. D. Shepard on front pastedown. Ex library, with only a few marks: a single ink stamp on the front endpaper, the title-page, and p. 50, and a small shelf label on spine.
