Tipped-in colour frontispiece plus 15 tipped-in colour plates + profusely illustrated in black and white throughout. Edges of boards are very slightly faded and a little bumped along top margin of rear board. Fore-edges are lightly foxed and there is a small stain to outer edge. There is a slight lean to spine. Endpapers are very slightly browned and with only minor occasional and light foxing to some pages the contents are remarkably clean and sound. The wrapper with mounted colour illustration is intact with only minor signs of wear and use to extremities. Overall a very lovely copy. SCARCE in wrapper.
