Original letter handwritten in black ink on light blue paper. Datelined April 6, 1819 in Boston, Massachusetts. 8" x 13." One page. Letter is clean and intact overall but has faded to a light beige through age toning, a few small stains, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. In this letter, the writer's signature is not legible but appears to be a first name only. He writes to naval officials in Washington, D.C. to send him documentation as to the arrival and inspection of ship anchors his company has manufactured and shipped.
