This memoir of dedication and determination is in general fair condition. The top run of the book has been subjected to damp storage conditions with consequent marking, bubbling and disfigurement. However, this does not extend beyond the 3cm affected area. Nor are the contents of the book affected. The covers are very generally marked from shelving. The spine is discoloured from storage. But, the title information is legible. The front and end papers are discoloured and marked by the above mentioned storage. There is minor staining to the top edges to the first few pages. Page 33 has a fold. However, all pages are generally clear, clean and fixed. It should be noted that these are not the memoirs of the 1920's stripper of banana-skirt fame.
