William Brewster (1851-1919) was an American ornithologist, conservationist, and naturalist. He co-founded the American Ornithologists' Union. This pamphlet contains Brewster's discussion on the red-legged black duck with an emphasis on the relationship between leg coloration, age of the duck, and seasonal changes. Throughout the article, Brewster refers to "Dr. Dwight" and makes a case against some of his findings.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Soft cover
