Signed by Author(s)the jacket is worn and there is a large chip missing from the bottom of the front panel. now protected in cellophane. the book is inscribed by the author thus : "to mrs I Lee with best wishes for 1951 from the author, and in hope of further happy meetings Mafeking December 25 1950 w.s. chadwick" there are no other inscriptions but there is a stamp mark from the 'friends of the florida library'. this is however not a library book. there is some foxing on the front end page and the early pages are a bit wavy. the binding is excellent..
