a lovely book. original red boards with gold gilt to the front. silk spine bound with red twine. printed on specially prepared Chinese paper made by hand from bamboo fiber. the Chinese characters on the silk cover are a translation of the title in Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek's own calligraphy.the front end page is creased and there are a few spots of foxing affecting the early pages. there is a previous owner's inscription and date. the binding is excellent. a few minor age related marks. the boards are a little faded..
