There is a charming original black ink line drawing on the title page by Claerhout, who passed away in 2006. The drawing depicts a woman returning to her hut and it is also signed by the author. The book itself is ever so slightly shelf rubbed and edge-worn but presents no other defect or marking. The dust jacket is shelf-rubbed and a touch edge-worn but is well cared for and remains bright and whole. Apart from Claerhout's drawing, there are no other inscriptions or markings and the pages within are crisp and clean. Altogether tightly bound and presents marvelously in cellophane..
