Lower cover a bit scuffed and a little creased. Very good condition. "Capt. Crosby happened to be in South Africa when the Anglo-Boer War broke out. He [enlisted] for the Prince of Wales Light Horse, and served in the Natal Carbineers, and was trapped in the Siege of Ladysmith. At the beginning of the Siege he weighed 12 stone - at the end he weighed 9 stone! After the Siege he was invalided to England, but afterwards returned to duty in South Africa."
