Gilt decorations on top cover of binding; deckled pages; 137 numbered pages, plus limitation page and one page noting printing location [England]. Condition: Two leaves of the Prologue section un-opened (not opened by knife at publisher). Binding lightly age toned and light soiling and wear. Gift inscription from a professor to a student penned on first blank. Some wrinkling, mostly to endpapers. Pgs. 137/138 have piece of pages missing (not affecting text), or perhaps the signatures were gathered and published that way. Overall: Very Good. No bookplates or stickers.
