De Pue of the Pacific Excursion Co., a transportation service, writes to Mr. Carl Kurtz of Metropole, Avalon. De Pue writes, "Dear Sir: - While conversing with Mr. Greenwald yesterday, he suggested that you might be interested in our South Sea Island trip. -- Hence I take the liberty of addressing you and enclose one of our little booklets [not present]. Should you be interested, I shall be pleased to have you visit the 'Vine' and look her over. We expect to sail from San Pedro tonight. Yours, very truly, J. E. De Pue."
