McCorkle postulates that there may be an earlier state to this map. If so, then this would be the second state of this map.
"This map covers the eastern half of North America from James bay to the Florida Keys. It shows the thirteen United States, select towns and cities, forts, indian villages, and tribal territory, and relief. Includes new historical notes, a list of the thirteen states with their capitals, names proposed for ten new states provided for in the ordinances of 1784."
