Collection of thirty-eight original black-and-white photographs showing scenic landscapes and views in Canada. Many of the photos show Banff and surrounding area. No date, circa 1910s-1930s. 4" x 2 1/2." Most of the photos are virtually pristine and intact except for light age toning, spots of discoloration on back, slight foxing limited to edges, and minuscule surface wear. A few of the photos have stains on front. This photo collection as a whole is Very Good. A collection of beautiful photos of the Canadian wilderness and landmarks in Banff and other regions. There are many photos showing mountains, glaciers, and glacial lakes. Most of the photos are uncredited but at least one is "courtesy of the Dept. of National Defence." All of the photos, except for one, have printed white captions within the frame. The captions denote the subject of the photos.
