Although the list focuses on terms used on the floor of the JSE, some general economic terms such as 'aksepkrediet/ acceptance credit', 'kapitaalvermindering/ reduction of capital' and 'publieke maatskappy/ public company' have been included in this list since they are used on the floor from time to time. Terms such as 'dividend' and most terms related to 'skuldbrief/ debenture' have been excluded because there had to be a firm cut-off point between compiling a financial dictionary and a list of stock exchange terms."
