Luba Krugman Gurdus is an artist and novelist, well known for her illustrated memoir “The Death Train”, which concerns her life in the Warsaw Ghetto; she immigrated to the United States after surviving the war. Her stark illustrations of the camps are on permanent exhibit at the Holocaust Memorial center of Florida. Subjects: Holocaust, Jewish (1939-1945) -- Poland -- Poetry.
