the original boards are a little shelf rubbed and very slightly marked. the gold gilt to the spine is still bright and very attractive. the spine ends are a little knocked. internally the book is very clean indeed. there are no inscriptions and the binding is excellent. it could well be unread. a rare book in first edition and rarer still in this condition..
