Original publisher's leaflet printed in dark brown ink on light beige paper. No date, circa 1915. 2 1/4" x 3 3/4." One leaf of paper printed on front and back. Leaflet is very clean and intact except for light age toning, minuscule wear to extremities, and a few wrinkles. This leaflet was formerly attached to something at the top but was meant to be removed. Near this perforation is the following text: "Detach the above and past in front of book." A Very Good copy. This is a promotional leaflet advertising two books, The Heart of the Sunset (1915) by Rex Beach and The Money Master (1915) by Sir Gilbert Parker. Rex Beach (1877-1949) was an American novelist, playwright, and Olympic water polo player. The Heart of the Sunset is set in the early twentieth century along the Texas-Mexico border. Sir Gilbert Parker (1862-1932), also known as Sir Horatio Gilbert George Parker, 1st Baronet, was a Canadian author and British politician.
