The boards are rubbed and edge worn, and have been discoloured from exposure where the jacket is no longer covering them. They remain square and whole. The dust jacket is very rubbed, marked and worn, with multiple chips, tears and creases along the edges. There are chips out of the top and bottom edges of the spine and the bottom of the front cover, which have caused the boards underneath to become discoloured. Aside from this, the legibility of the text on the jacket is not affected, and the jacket is intact. Internally, there is a previous owner's signature on the front end page. there are no other markings or inscriptions. The binding is strong and it is preserved in cellophane. JV.K.
