Folio. Entire issue, Volume I, No. 6, June 16, 1938, in original pictorial wraps, light general wear, spine rolled a bit, occasional creasing, rear wrap more soiled and rubbed, overall mostly a clean, bright copy. The American author and adventurer's 6th of 14 contributions to Ken presenting his unfavorable views of Allied politicians and their responses to Hitler's overt and aggressive promotion of fascism. From the opening paragraph, "This is that old Spanish war that everyone has forgotten. This correspondent rather hates to bring it up again. Especially after the fascists in the U. S. State Department have done their level, crooked, Roman, British-aping, disgusting, efficient best to end it by denying the Spanish government the right to buy arms to defend itself against the German and Italian aggression. But if this magazine is to bring any sort of an insider's view it must keep on returning to a consideration of the Spanish war even though it bores you." See Hanneman C299. Scarce.. Magazine.
