Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with an illustration by Mary Sherwood Wright Jones of a seated woman sewing a checkered quilt with an ornate floral design behind her. 10 1/2" x 13 1/4." Twenty-six pages, complete. Many black and white illustrations and advertisements throughout magazine, complete. Inside of front cover has a black and white advertisement for Listerine that markets it as an effective way to fight and prevent colds. This ad notes how recent scientific breakthroughs of the time have identified the cause of colds to be a virus. On the inside of back cover is a multicolored ad for Burpee's Giant Zinnias. On the back cover is a multicolored ad for Luckies cigarettes that shows a woman sitting behind poinsettias, wearing a dress, gloves, and a fur coat while holding a cigarette. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Address stamp in upper-left margin of front cover. A few spots on inside of back cover. A monthly magazine featuring sewing projects and ideas, the latest trends of the time, and home and life advice.
