This ad notes how recent scientific breakthroughs of the time have identified the cause of colds to be a virus. On the inside of back cover is a multicolored ad for Burpee's Giant Zinnias. On the back cover is a multicolored ad for Luckies cigarettes that shows a woman sitting behind poinsettias, wearing a dress, gloves, and a fur coat while holding a cigarette.
