Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with an illustration by Marjorie Rowell showing two insects preparing for a wedding by shopping for bridal veils made by a spider. 10 1/2" x 13 1/4." Twenty-six pages, complete. Many black and white illustrations and advertisements throughout magazine, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Address stamp in upper-left margin of front cover. Inside of front cover has a black and white advertisement for Listerine. On inside of back cover is a black and white ad for a sewing model of an afghan with floral motifs. On the back cover is a multicolored ad for Luckies cigarettes that shows film actress Janet Gaynor smiling with the quote, "Leading artists of the screen prefer Luckies." Pages 11 and 13 feature comic-strip-style ads for Rinso soap and Postum (a caffeine-free alternative to coffee; comic is titled "Joys and Glooms"), respectively. A monthly magazine featuring sewing projects and ideas, the latest trends of the time, and home and life advice.
