Pages and covers are clean and intact overall. Pages are fragile and age-toned. Some chipping at the edges and spine. A Very Good Copy. Famous Fantastic Mysteries was a science fiction and fantasy pulp magazine edited by Mary Gnaedinger. The first issue appeared in 1939. Its popularity quickly led to the publication of a companion magazine, Fantastic Novels. The last issue of Famous Fantastic Mysteries was published in 1953. The December 1948 issue. The following are the features in this issue: a book-length novel, "Nordenholt's Million," by J. J. Connington (pseudonym of Alfred Walter Stewart); a short story, "Let Clarence Do It," by Edward S.
