A short story aimed toward young children by Krestine Knudsen. This is the first installment of Knudsen's planned series, For All Little Children. In this book, Knudsen tells the story of a girl named Bluesand and her doll, Lise, in a place called the Old Country. Lise goes on an adventure and visits Egypt by riding with a kindly stork. She meets other dolls and anthropomorphic animals. However, Lise longs to return to the Old Country and finds her way back.
