Slight cracking at the tail of the spine along the front and back outer joints. There is a crack measuring about 3 1/2" from the head of the spine along the front outer joint. A Very Good copy. Joseph-Louis Lagrange (1736-1813) was an Italian mathematician and astronomer. He later became a French citizen. Lagrange made sweeping contributions to the fields of mathematics and astronomy and their subdisciplines including mathematical analysis, number theory, and classical and celestial mechanics.
