No publication date is printed, but there is a gift inscription on the frontispage dated January 1913. The red, pressed cloth cover is worn and discoloured. The printing on the front cover, though, is bold and clean. All edges and corners are worn. Corners are shelving depressed. The spine side and top quarter of the front cover is faded. There are markings on the front and back covers. The spine is much faded. The colour of the print and pattern stamp has been bleached away. There is a previous owner inscription on the inside of the front cover. Inside the pages have some age spotting. There are neat pencil annotations throughout.
