The 2pp. document, on 2 pages of a folded sheet, each page 250 x 195mm, is headed My Property at Stirling. Mark describes in detail the chain of succesion whereby the property came into his possession, and affirms that it is to pass to his heirs and assigns after his death. The document / statement is signed by William Mark, and dated Malaga 30th April 1847, two years before his death. The attached sketch plan is likewise 250 x 195mm, painted in pink and blue to designate Mark's property and the adjoining one, and is stated "this sketch was taken in the year 1827, (signed) Wm. Mark. It is annotated by Mark listing relevant documentation. William Mark RN (b. Berwick on Tweed 5.3.1782, d.
