Undated, but appears to be about 1900.This charming, still amusing collection of 'cartoon' drawings for 'The Graphic' is much marked, worn and torn. The illustrated front cover is is much marked and worn but the picture is still alert and clear. The board edges and corners are worn through. The back cover is scratched, worn and faded. The illustration, although not entirely readable, is duplicated inside the volume. Again, the edges and corners are worn through. The red cloth spine is much damaged from age and storage. However, the binding is firm. The body of the book is still attached to the spine although the seams are cracked and fragile. The end papers are out of alignment and have marks and open tears about the edges. The gentle illustrations are clear, unmarked and in fresh condition.
