Willis were an Irish Dublin business who opened a branch in London intially in Piccadilly and eventuallu to 55 St James Street in 1827 where this song was pub. from. Jane Mary Guest was a Georgian female composer of some note who studied with J.C.Bach among others. A serious permormer and composer she wrote several songs to Burns lyrics.
