An original Congressional document containing a transcript of discussions between William W. Morrow and other Representatives about the bill, H.R. 7160, which is about the payment of pensions. This document specifically addresses pensions for Army and Navy veterans and their families for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1891. Many financial and statistical figures about pensions are discussed including those from past years. Included is a brief statistical table that lists the number of pensioners on rolls for the War of Rebellion (Civil War), War of 1812, and Mexican-American War. The pensioners of this table are categorized as disabled veterans or the widows "and others" of fallen servicemembers. William W. Morrow (1843-1929) was an American politician and a United States Representative from California. Morrow also served as a district judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and a circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Circuit Courts for the Ninth Circuit..
