8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. On offer is a super, original 1944 - 1945 manuscript diary handwritten by a dedicated, enthusiastic shipbuilder, Mr. Farlenza, in the Newark Shipyard. While there is a name, Marie Jane Cecilia Natale Farlenza, written twice on the inside cover usually denoting authorship, reading the entries it is clear that the information is of the author's wife who turned the book over to her husband. Here are some snippets: "Got up at 645 Marie made me breakfast and lunch picked up the riders. Salvatore is such a bull thrower and a pain in the neck.
