Liberty loans (or bonds) were war bonds that were sold to support the Allies during World War I. The purchasing of said loans were promoted as a patriotic act during the war. Included is a brief history of the National Woman's Liberty Loan Committee which was formed in May 1917. Women who were part of the Committee sold war bonds during World War I. In this pamphlet, the women of the Committee are commended for their work and a summary for each state in the U.S., as well as France, includes statistics about the sales of Liberty bonds.
