Many tipped-in black-and-white plates and one black-and-white map, complete. Map shows the floor plan of the Palace of Fine Arts. List of Illustrations in the front. Printed by Paul Elder and Company's Tomoye Press. Pages are very clean and intact except for light age toning, occasional offsetting, and minuscule wear to extremities. Covers are very clean and intact except for age toning, slight wear to edges and head and tail of spine, a few small stains on front, almost imperceptible surface scratches, and a small bit of sticker residue in upper-right corner on front. Binding is tight. A Very Good copy. A treatise about the art featured at the Palace of Fine Arts in the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Includes many beautiful plates of some of the artworks in the Palace of Fine Arts. Authored by Eugen Neuhaus. The Panama-Pacific International Exposition was a world's fair held from February 20 to December 4, 1915 in San Francisco, California. The fair celebrated the completion of the Panama Canal and showcased San Francisco's recovery following the aftermath of the 1906 earthquake.
