Stereograph on board (7 x 3 1/2 inch) with title across the bottom in English and Spanish, the publishers name along the sides. Image of the Manufactures Building looking toward the front entrance with the canal bridge in front. This building, designed by George B. Post was the central display for modern inventions - among them Nikola Tesla's alternating current system, moving pictures, and other major inventions. The 600 acre fair had some 200 structures in the 'Beaux Arts' style and was attended by over 27 million visitors. Most of the structures were burnt down in July 1894. Fine clean copy.. Book.
