# 90 of 'Chicago and Vicinity, New Series, 1871'. Stereograph on organge board (7 x 3 1/2 inch) with publishers name along the sides. View of the church, Wabash and Harrison streets, from the front angle showing the spires and entrance ca.1870s. Very good clean copy, slight wear along the edges from use, of a view of an early Methodist Episcopal Church in its pre-fire state. Built in 1857, it was designed by W.W. Boynington, it barely survived the 'Great Fire' of October 1871 and was taken over for use by the U.S. Post Office in 1871.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Binding: No Binding
