Original broadside printed in red ink on light beige paper. 12" x 14." Broadside is very clean and intact except for light age toning, slight wrinkling throughout, a few tiny bumps and chips along edges, and a horizontal fold line at center. Paper is a bit fragile. A Very Good copy. An original broadside announcing the Columbus Day Celebration in San Francisco at Aquatic Park on October 11, 1931. Another event, the Queen Coronation Ball, is set to take place on October 9, 1931 at the Native Sons Hall. Most of the broadside lists the program of events for the Columbus Day celebration and the times of the events. Among the various entertainments in this program are "rowing races," "municipal band concert," "playground children," "sailing race," "landing of Columbus," music, and stunts. Angelo J.
