The Rialto Producing Company was incorporated in 1922 with William S. Phillips as president. In this letter to Lawrence T. Berliner (1881-1969), a sometimes correspondent for various trade publications, Phillips offers to sell half interest of the song and dance review, 'Cuddle Up' for the asking price of $5,000.00. The review features seven female performers, pictured on the stationary. Phillips writes that the show is in its second successful season, played twenty-six weeks the prior year and is set to open a Midwest tour within a few months.
