Covers are virtually pristine and intact. Binding is tight. A Near Fine copy. Thomas Postans (1808-1846) was a British military officer who worked for the East India Company. In this autobiographical account, Postans gives his personal observations about the Sindh (Sind) Province of British India and Pakistan. Sind was conquered by the British Empire during the early 1840s. Today, the Sindh Province is located in modern-day Pakistan.
