Aurelia Henry Reinhardt (1877-1948) was an American author, professor, and political activist. Reinhardt received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley and later completed her PhD at Yale University. She was also the leader of several organizations. Reinhardt served as president of the American Association of University Women and became the moderator for the American Unitarian Association. Among her most significant accomplishments was serving as the president of Mills College in Oakland from 1916-1943, which made her the longest-serving president in the school's history. Reinhardt was also notable for being a peace activist during World War I and for her other progressive views about women's education, women's suffrage, and international peace and cooperation. Reinhardt gave this address on the occasion for dedicating the Garden Club of America's Redwood Grove in Humboldt Redwoods State Park to the people.. Book. Book Condition: Fine. Binding: Hardcover
