Original publisher's brown paper wrappers with staple binding. No date, circa 1931-1939. 4" x 9." Unpaginated, thirty-nine pages, complete. Black-and-white illustrations, complete. Pages are virtually pristine and intact except for light age toning and minuscule bumping to corners of fore-edge. Covers are clean and intact except for minuscule bumping to corners, slight wrinkling along spine and extremities, and a few small marks on front. A Very Good copy. This is a trade catalog of rubber parts and other hardware manufactured by the Rubbercraft Corporation of California, Ltd. Most of the catalog comprises printed illustrations of hardware done in a simple, graphic style with very brief captions denoting specifications such as measurements, weights, and model numbers. Prices are not given. Insides of covers list a variety of products made by Rubbercraft. Rubbercraft is still in business to this day and specializes in the manufacture of molded rubber products. According to the Rubbercraft website, the company's history dates as far back as 1911 with the Hendrie Tire Company of Torrance, California. After as apparent cease of operations, Eno Rubber Corporation purchased the Hendrie plant in 1926. The name of Eno Rubber Corp. was formally changed to the Rubbercraft Corporation of California, Ltd. in 1931. The Merral family owned Rubbercraft for over fifty years but transferred ownership to the Sanders family in 1981. After the Sanders family sold Rubbercraft to Industrial Growth Partners (IGP) in 2014, Rubbercraft also took on an alternate name, Integrated Polymer Solutions (IPS).
