Educator writer Niyazi Sanli wrote the lives of eight teachers: Ali Aytekin. Bilan Kaya, Hakan Duran, Bilal Yaldiz, Celal Ergüder, Murat Alkan, Kadri Fidanoglu and Hakan Usta ,education volunteers who died at a young age while teaching in Turkish schools abroad. He visited the parents, colleagues students, graves, and made them the focus of the book " Light Prophets". Niyazi Sanli was one of the first volunteers to travel abroad. In 1993, when he graduated from university, he went to Kyrgyzstan and from there he went to Chechnya. Sanli, who returned after the war, is now teaching Turkish in Istanbul. 224p. illus.
