14 Volume set in navy covered slip cases. Set is 14 volumes, complete, according to the set's volume listing at the beginning of volume 1. Some sellers sets state 15 volumes, and this may be a later printing. Each volume 1/4 cloth bound, being covered in navy blue pper with gold Triton centered, and white linen clothspines with attached paper labels. All labels are tanning. Volume one is SSIGNED G. SANTAYANA and this set is numbered 663 of 940, 920 of which were sold by subscription and another 20 for presentation only. Each volume is clean, tight and appears gently read or unread as majority of the volumes are UNCUT. Very light shelf wear to the slip cases, most notable at the bottoms. Vlume 8 has a slight stain to spine.
