The boards are a touch rubbed and edge worn, with a tiny, unnoticeable chip out of the front edge. The gold gilt on the spine remains bright and vibrant. The dust jacket is rubbed and edge worn, with some light creasing along the edges and a small chip from insect damage out of the edge of the flap. This does not affect the integrity of the jacket, and it remains strong, intact and bright. There is a small closed tear on the back top edge. Internally, the front pastedown and end page have been affected by liquid damage (almost certainly coffee). There is a previous retailer's stamp marking on the front end page as well. Aside from this, there are no other markings or inscriptions and the pages are clean and complete. Tightly bound and charmingly presented in cellophane. JV. Book Condition: Very Good.
