Foxing to text and end pages with some dampstaining to fore-edges. Boards are worn, dampstained and cracked at joints with upper board a bit loose; with chipping to head and tail of scaling leather spine and lightly bumped corners. An interesting moral and religious dissertation on marriage and sexual relations (the glossary defines "scortatory," as the opposite of conjugal: sections include Fornication, Concubinage, the Lusts of Defloration, Varieties, Violation, Seducing Innocents, etc.).
