The portrait page has been signed by the author J.B. Taylor in blue ink. The boards are shelf rubbed and edge worn, and the book ever so slightly cocked. The cloth has begun to fray along the spine, which is also discoloured with age. Despite this, the boards remain strong and square, with bright gold gilt to the spine. Internally, there are no markings or inscriptions aside from that of the author. There is sporadic foxing throughout but the pages remain legible, crisp and complete. Tightly bound and handsome. JK.
