Engraved frontis. displaying two scenes, extra engraved title page + 1 plate also displaying two scenes. Original cream printed boards with original red roan backstrip, rubbed at spine and with sl. wear at extremities. Contemporary notes to endpapers, plates attractively offset onto opposite page. An exceptionally clean and sound copy of an early nineteenth century educational volume presented in the way it was sold nearly 200 years ago.
