Original advertising brochure, a typed or printed letter, and an envelope the letter (and possibly the ad) came in. Letter is signed by (in typed or printed text) Esther Rennells, representative of the company, and appears to have been sent out en masse to potential customers. Brochure measures 3 1/2" x 6" folded. Letter measures 6 1/4" x 10 1/4." Envelope measures 7" x 3 3/4." Brochure is printed on one leaf and folds out into eight panels front and back. Letter is one page. Brochure features several small illustrations using a black, white, and green color scheme. Brochure, letter, and envelope are very clean and intact except for the occasional wrinkle. Letter was folded in thirds and has two horizontal fold lines. Brochure, letter, and envelope are Fine. The brochure advertises several of the American Stationery Company's stationery sets under the names of "Regular," "Double Sheet," "De Luxe," "Correspondence," "Social," and "Classic." The brochure also includes specifications of the sets, pricing, and ordering instructions. The letter advertises the American Stationery Company and its products by stating that the current season of summer is a timely occasion to write to one's friends. The envelope is addressed to F. W. Blaisdell in Alfred, Maine. The envelope was mailed using a green and white one-cent stamp showing an illustrated portrait of Benjamin Franklin in side profile.. Ephemera.
